There is a wealth of tourist attractions within easy reach of Alpendorf. The reception keeps a stock of brochures, there is a tourist information office in Annaberg (under the ski lift), and in Summer there is a weekly listing of events.

      • Dein Berg including forest rope course with Flying X area, 400-metre-long SpeedLiner, and "KöpflFlitzer" (fast mountain carting)

      • Schladming, Abenteuerpark Planai Tree-top adventure park

    • Konigssee national park (actually in Bavaria), nearby the Berchtesgarden area and also close to Hitler's "Eagles Nest" (its an easy drive to the Eagle's Nest via Hallein, entry is about 16 Euro per adult including a compulsory bus ride (or walk!))

    • Hohe Tauern National Park
